This expedition will feature the Gulf Islands National Park Reserve (GINPR) as well as lead you to a variety of other must see sites in the Southern Gulf Islands. Through these crystal clear moving waters from the faithful seat of your kayak, you will likely experience everything from sea stars and nudibranchs nestled in colorful seaweed to fascinating topography, not to mention the possible glimpse of our endangered Southern Resident Killer (Orca) Whales! Their 3 pods (J,K,L) can often be seen in search of Chinook Salmon in their Salish Sea.
Our fleet includes Delta Kayaks, NDK, Seaward, Current Designs, Wilderness Systems & Necky. We offer a wide variety of styles and sizes of kayaks to suit every paddling adventure.
Your kayak rental includes all Transport Canada required safety gear plus spray skirt, extra paddle (per group), paddle float, chart and info of intended paddling area (based upon availability).
Wetsuits, drysuits, drybags and camping gear may be rented upon request for an additional cost. Please contact us for your specific gear rental requests.
This course offers a great opportunity to take the first step with Paddle Canada's National Instructor Training Program.
Participants will earn nationally certified and internationally recognized certification, gaining titile as Paddle Canada Instructors.
With a minimum age of only 16, this program encourages younger paddlers engrain a foundation of kayaking by learning how to teach effectively, while demonstrating professional and correct technique.

We have a fleet of 10 pedal bicycles sourced from Devinci, a Canadian Company! Most are equipped with disc brakes and are light and easy to ride!
We'll get you started by comfortably fitting you in safety gear, followed by a short paddle demonstration and safety talk, followed by exploring the protected coves and tidal zones of Port Browning and Bedwell Harbour, including a visit to the Pender canal that separates North and South Pender Islands. This canal has some of the richest and oldest known cultural history of BC's coastal waters!
